Revue Faire 42, 43, 44, 45
A bi-monthly magazine dedicated to graphic design, published from October to June, distributed each two months in the form of anthologies of three or four issues. This volume kicks off with a non-comprehensive overview by Victoire Le Bars and Benjamin Thorel of 20 issues of ‘F.R.DAVID’, the unclassifiable journal that emerged in 2007. Thierry Chancogne then offers an analysis of typographic writing, seeking to answer how writing, with its personal dynamics, functions in conjunction with the industrial and normative generalisation of typography. Furthermore, James Langdon looks at the conundrum of the visual communication of neuroscience, while Stuart Bertolotti-Bailey analyses the inherent redundancy of graphic design templates in four case studies.
